With Sam being a bit late, I'd like to point out that it gives some people No time at all. to plan.

I hate giving extentions, because those are inevitably late as well, but if everyone feels they need an extention, we'll delay 24 hours till midnight Friday.
Anyone else feel like we need an extention?

What? I checked the orders update page and there were no little x's next to anyone's orders so I assumed that the day had been extended and did my orders this morning.

There was no 'official' extention, but at the time I'd left for work yesterday, no one had handed in orders yet so the order tracking was left blank. Now we're waiting for our overworked friend Mitch, who has suggested that we slow the game down to one turn a week, but with fewer players, I'd think the game would go faster? I'm not crazy about the idea because it holds up the momentum of the game, and I like the current pace. We've got a really close game here and I'm happy to see this. Really, as long as you've gotten responses back from your e-mails, it should only take 10 minutes to write your orders.
Anyone else want to only hand in one turn a week?

Not only would one turn a week drag things out it would kill any momentum we have right now. Having everyone letting you know ahead of time about potential delays (thank you Sam and Mitch) means expectations are in line when we do have a delay. As it is I'm cool with being short a day here or there and/or delaying a day when people's lives rear their ugly heads.
